I always synchronise with my laptop when it is connected to corporate
network. It used to work fine when I had WM 2003 SE on my iPAQ hx4700 and
when I was connecting through VPN (UMTS) connection.
Then I upgraded to WM 5 and problems started - I have never managed to
synchronise again though I have been connected to corporate mailbox via VPN.
I always receive message that 'server is busy' which is not true as I can f.
ex. send and receive e-mails or define new task or calendar item.

It looks like there is time-out recognised by ActiveSync...

What can I do about it - I travel a lot and losing this functionality would
be disaster.

Hi,
Did you confirm that ActiveSync is able to find the Exchange server via the
VPN? The device needs to know that the name resolution for the Exchange
server points to an internal IP. So I would use VXutil from www.cam.com to
confirm this.

If it is not then try using Pocket Hosts from www.zimac.de to setup the
correct name to IP relationship.
