I recently managed to get my Outlook 2003 and ActiveSync to sync sucessfully.
After a couple of days, AS will syncronise everything except my "contacts."

Things I have tried so far:
1. reinstalling AS 3.8 - no luck
2. disbled fire wall - no luck
3. uninstall entry under PPC device manager - no luck

Thanks in advance for your help.....

Try running Help -> Detect and Repair in Outlook, then reinstall
ActiveSync.

OK, can you try running ScanPST to see if there's some corruption in
your Outlook pst file (which is Outlook's data file) - see
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/scanpst.htm for assistance in
running the program.
