hi there,

i'm havina some trouble here stopping activesync 4.5 to mess up my pocket
pc's (WM2005) proxy setting, is there any doc around for this, or even some
kind of organized info on the topic?

i haven't had much luck finding what i'm looking for...

just for the record, the issues that i'm having are related to my pocket
device inheriting proxy settings from my workstation. And that is not
desirable at all.

proxy config at the pocket should remain clean(no proxy). But i can't find a
way of keeping it like that and each time i place the gadget at the craddle
it get's magically turned on again...

Hi João,

Is it set to "Automatic" under Connection Settings in ActiveSync on your PC?
Try setting it to "Internet" instead and check if it stops the issue you are
facing.
