Yes, that's the way it works and no, there's nothing you can do about that
I've ever found. You can simply uncheck the checkbox, "Allow connections to
one of the following", in the Connection Settings dialog in ActiveSync on
the PC, of course. If you do that, you'll have to check it again before you
sync via Bluetooth.
