Will Activesync connect via Bluetooth?

Hi all,

I am a happy owner of a HP iPAQ 1940 and have yet to try the bluetooth out.
I was thinking of getting a bluetooth dongle for my laptop - will ActiveSync
use that connection to sync my PIM info. Additionally, how much faster is
bluetooth than IRDA. The activesync help only list, cable/cradle, infrared,
modem & network - no bluetooth (but is that like network?).

Hi,
Bluetooth operates at 768k and IrDA works at 115.2k so it's quite a bit
faster. To sync with bluetooth you have to select the virtual com port for
the Bluetooth connection. The com port has to be com1 through com9. Higher
level com ports are not supported. Select the com port in File - Connection
Settings.
