Hi Folks,

I've done a bunch of Googling and found some stuff about NIS complaining
about "DeepThroat Trojan Horse" when my pocketpc (IPAQ 1945 in my case) is
connected and ActiveSync runs (it's working BTW!!).

Does anyone have a solution to this issue (i.e. stopping NIS complaining
about DeepThroat)??

Can the port number for ActiveSync be changed away from the dreaded
DeepThroat port - 999?

My configuration: XP SP2, NIS 2003, Toshiba laptop, ActiveSync 3.7.1, USB.

TIA!

Ian

Hi,
Unfortunately Microsoft does not allow users to change the Port settings
that ActiveSync uses.
