ActiveSync disconnects while searching for changes

Hello everybody,

my PPC seems to have serious problem since a few days: ActiveSync
disconnects after a few seconds - while searching for changes.

My hardware: QTEK 9090 with WM2003SE.

That's really strange and happens with the same PPC on two PCs, where it
used to work a day ago.

When putting the PPC into the cradke, the sync ist starting, ActiveSync is
telling me that it's searching for changes, and a second later the ppc stops
the sync process (I can her the sync end sound). ActiveSync on the PC is
still waiting for a reaction from the PPC for about 10 seconds.

When I connect my PPC as a guest, the connection is established properly. I
can copy files to the PPC and so on.

Now I deinstalled ActiveSync on my PC, deleted every registry entry,
rebooted the PC and installed ActiveSync again - with the same effect.

Then I made a hard reset on my PPC and just tried to sync with my desktop.
AND IT WORKED. So the desktop configuration is OK.

After restoring my backuped system to the PPC, the same problem occured. I
really don't want to reinstall every single application.

HELP!

Is there anything I can reset on the PPC? Or can I delete any config-files
on the PPC to reset ActiveSync?

Perhaps somebody knows help?

THANKS!

What you can do is Uncheck all the sync options without deleting your
partnership. Once you have unchecked your sync options, add them one by one
to see which one causes the problem and you might be able to purge those data
and replace them on your device. If this does not work, You'll have to do it
the hard way and delete the partnerships and even cold boot the device if
needed.
One lower level of granularity with which you can track what item is causing
this behavior is to use the time filter to narrow down your search.
Good luck,
