Hi all,

I'm using Windows Mobile 5, and just installed ActiveSync 4.1 build 4807.
When I tried to sync with my Outlook 2003, I keep seeing this error
"ActiveSync encountered a problem on the desktop. Support Code:85010014".

The strange thing is, I can sync Notes and Favorites successfully. But not
Calendar, Contacts, Tasks or email.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot!

CQ

Hi,
The error is actually coming from Outlook's API to access data. Try running
Scanpst to fix any errors in the PST file, Detect & Repair of Outlook and
then reinstall ActiveSync.

Hi Zex,

My experience is similar. My ActiveSync problems happened only after I
upgraded my PDA from Windows Mobile 2003 to 2005. I think if nothing else
works and I become desperate, I will simply downgrade back to Windows Mobile
2003. However, logically this shouldn't be the case, but well....
