Hi all,

I am dealing with a problem concerning synchronizing a PDA with
Exchange.
The server itself is described as follow:
- SBS 2003 SP1
- Exchange 2003 SP2
- Fully updated

Consider this situation:
- Mail is read in outlook/oma/owa
- PDA synchronizes with Exchange and all mail is correctly downloaded on
the pda

Then this situation:
- A new mail is sent to the account that synchronizes on the pda
- The mail is not read anywhere in outlook/oma/owa
- The pda synchronizes with the exchange server and the new mail is NOT
downloaded on the pda, old mail is still available on the pda.
- When you read afterwards the new mail in outlook/owa/oma the mail is
perfectly synchronized on the pda.

Conclusion: New mail is only downloaded to the PDA ones it has been read
by outlook/owa/oma.

Does anyone has any experience with this behaviour ?

This behaviour is occurring on different devices, these have also been
hard resetted and so on.
Personally I presume there is a problem with the Exchange server (I also
reapplied SP2 for Exchange)

Thank you for the guys that have interesting information resolving this
problem.

Kind Regards

Speak-On

Having same problems. Used to work fine, then a couple of weeks ago
everything quit. Sending works, and this is happening to all of our
devices, including Treo and PPC. had any luck?

I think I found the issue. Are you running Groupshield or some other AV
product that does VSAPI scanning?
