ActiveSync gone now what do we do to sync to MS Calendar 2007

I bot this Vista Premium laptop in Feb. I had Office 2003 then. Now I have
Office 2007 and still CANNOT sync my IPAQ 1940 with my calendar. Neither HP
nor MS offer support, blaming each other. Has anyone found a solution to
this?

You have to download and install WMDC 6.1, minimum OS is Windows mobile 2003:

ActiveSync is not supported on Windows Vista, you need to be running
PocketPC 2003 Premium later and use Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1
software for syncing.
