activeSync lost connection

I am trying to run an applicaton through the MS Visual embedded C++ IDE(4.0),
after I build the application and connect the device running on CE4.2 with
the PC via the ActiveSync(just updated to 4.5 after the the connection
problem), but after I press F5, it prompts me with the message "the
connection to the target device has been broken, Debugging will now stop.
You must now exit and restart eVC."

I can download the program to the device, but have some problem running the
debug.

Also I notice that the ActiveSync connection will lost connection within 2
minutes.

You might do better with the manual server sort of connection rather than
ActiveSync, if you have a network connection on your CE4.2 device. Take a
look at this:

One of my replies in this thread indicates how to set up the device and
Platform Manager on the PC to make the connection over the network.

As for the actual problem, I don't know what's going on and you haven't told
us anything about how AS is connected (USB, serial, something else?)...
