Activesync will no longer sync up with Ipaq

Hi, I have an Ipaq model 3850 that I upgraded to Pocket PC 2003. The
upgrade worked fine and I was able to reload software and carry on as
normal.

However, recently I cannot get activesync to recognize the device and sync
up. I will get the USB connected sound effect, but not the activesync
connected sound effect and the activesync tray icon will remain inactive.

The ipaq will say that activesync is running within pocket PC, but it will
not trigger an connection with the desktop.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
Did you upgrade to ActiveSync 3.7.1? This is the release that supports
Windows Mobile 2003. It's available from Microsoft's website for free.

I'm having the same issue with my iPaq. I have upgraded
to AS 3.7.1 as well. Everything has been working okay for
about 4-6 months and now it won't sync on USB. I can sync
with IR. I found a Microsoft KB article that says you
have to hard reset to fix the problem, but I'hoping
that's not the right answer.
