ActiveSync no longer working

I'm having a similar problem as many, I tried to upgrade to Active Sync 3.8
and it stopped working. All antivirus, etc.. has been turned off. tried
complete clean of 3.8 and re-installed 3.7.1 No luck. It was running fine
for 4 months with 3.7.1 and all of my current software. Symptoms are that
it connects, activesync shows green circles swirling, and then 1-3 seconds
later it disconnects. Anybody fixed this yet or found a solution?? I'm way
frustrated.

If you are running ZoneAlarm as a firewall, try completely
uninstalling it then try connecting.
