Activesync not syncing all email and some calendar entries from PC

I have an HTC Shadow 2 that will not sync properly. I am trying to sync to my
PC without the exchange server. When Activesync starts the sync process it
will show the # of e-mails or calendar entries and then place a check mark
next to them. It then states "synchronized". None of the e-mails appear on my
phone and only some of the calendar entries do. It appears that the calendar
entries that appear are the ones without text in the body of the calendar
entry. Entries made on the phone do appear on the PC. If there is a conflict
settings are set to replace item on device. Contacts appear to work OK. If
the USB is connected the e-mails will update sometimes. I tried syncing to
another PC and the calendar entries with notes appears to work OK.

I ran detect and repair on Outlook.
Ran scanpst.exe and fixed any errors.
Un-installed & re-installed activesync 4.5 (even tried 4.2 but my phone did
not like that)
Changed the date range for the calendar
Changed the e-mail download size limit

Hello,

You have gone through the most common fix-tricks for this error. Are you
using multiple Outlook Profiles? If so, that could be the source of the
issue.

Thanks for responding. No, only 1 profile is used. I have since downloaded
a trial of pocketmirror for windows mobile and at least the calendar now
works. I was hoping not to have to purchase additional software.

Hello,

One thing that I saw in your post you didn't do: Try to delete your
ActiveSync profile and re-establish it. It is possible that something has
broken in the profile that is causing the issue.

Regards,
