Activesync starts but not visible

I have a new problem with my activesync. I start Activesync from the start
menu (and get an hourglass for a moment), and then nothing. If I pull up
Task Manager I can see wcescomm is running (but not visible on the screen).
Also, I have the same behavior with msconfig. Any ideas?

Hi Lance,

It appears that you have a firewall application which is blocking the ports
required for communication. This might help you give the idea --

Hi,
Open ActiveSync on the PC and check the File - Connection Settings and see
if the check box for Show Status Icon in Taskbar is checked.
