I reinstalled Office 2003 prof edition.
I tried sync and received the message:
"Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using, because a
different profile was previously set up or the profile is password protected.
Please open Outlook using the appropriate profile"

I haven't use a special profile for Outlook. What to do?

Hi,
Is your profile the default profile for Outlook? Does the profile have a
password?

Have you opened Outlook for the first time after setting up the profile?

Also, are you using ActiveSync 4.0 or 4.1? 4.1 is the latest version.
