Activesync via RAS

Running Activesync 3.71 on Windows 2000 server with about 15 partnerships on
the server, users connect to Windows 4.0 RAS server on the same domain to
sync with Activesync server. Have several new handhelds running PocketPC
2003, when connected to RAS server and attemptring to connect to Activesync
server the application times out during the connection process, clicking OK
on the error clears the error and you click sync again and it finally
connects to the Activesync server and proceeds with the sync process. Is
there a setting under PPC2003 to change the server timeout, wonder if there
is a registry setting to extend the search time and not get the error for
the users. The process works fine for previous PPC versions. Only doing file
sync with Activesync so the MS sync server is not an option.

Thank you
