I am running ActiveSync 3.80 and just updated Norton Antivirus 2006. I had
to uninstall my previous Norton in order to install it. Now I can only sync
as a guest. I can sync if I delete and create a new partnership.
Unfortunately, the next time I sync I'm a guest again.
I have followed the MS advice of allowing ActiveSync, WCESMgr.exe, and
CEAPPMGR.exe. I couldn't find rapimgr.exe. Later I allowed all of the
executable files listed there. I allowed TCP and UDP 26675 and then later
after reading here, added 5678 and 5679. I'm still a guest.
What now?
