I visited a website that needed to install something with ActiveX. The
install failled and the page does not display correctly. Each time I revisit
the site, the only thing that is displayed is a small box with an "X" in it.
Unfortunately, the Active X toolbar is no longer present to ask me to
download the item(s) again. Is there a way to bring back the Active X
toolbar so I can attempt to reinstall?

Details? Tip: If the site has a help page use it.

Depending on what the Red-x is you might be able to get somewhere
with right-click and one of the options in its menu. Alternatively use
View Source of the page to figure out what the Red-X is supposed
to represent. You may get clues from it which would allow you to find
a support site for that object.

Good luck

It could be many things, but try deleting any cookies associated with
the site.
