ActiveX warning from IE

Last night, when I left my office, I was backing up my hard drive with
Acronis True Image. Today, when I unblanked the screen, Acronis had finished
the backup, but I had a warning message on the screen--something from
Internet Explorer about an ActiveX control on the page being unsafe to
interact with other parts of the page and did I want to allow the
interaction. I was not using Internet Explorer (IE8 under Windows XP) at the
time. In fact, I had, as usual, closed all my programs before starting the
backup.

Any idea of what could have happened--and if it's something I should worry
about?

Thank you!

Jo-Anne
