ActSync 4.5 causes IE to stop responding...

Hello,
I have installed active sync 4.5 on my win 2k computer.
when connected I'm not able to use the internet with IE 6.0 only firefox..
When I try id the app trys to locate proxy settings that do not exist on my
network and IE stops responding for all web sites.
Does any one know why?

Hi,
Are connecting your Windows Mobile device and allowing the internet on it in
ActiveSync? If so and the Windows Mobile connection appears to be faster,
then Win2k will redirect all the internet requests to the phone. If the
phone does not support data then it wil fail to connect and you will have to
wait a few mintes for IE to timeout.

To check for this setting, it is in the Connection Settings.
