Here is what i am tring to do. I set up a ad hoc connecion to my vista
laptop and then connect my xp laptop to it. That all works fine it connects
at 11mps. The problem is is that the xp computer cannot connect to the
internet. The vista computer is connected to the internet through my sprint
mobile broadband card. I have the connection set up to allow others to
connect through this connection but it still will not let it connect. The xp
computer says that it has found an IP address. I have allowed the IP address
in norton on both computers. I can also pin each of them with no problems
but I still cannot get the vista computer to let my xp go online. I don't
know if it has something to do with the sprint connection or if this is even
possible through the sprint card. Has anyone else tried this? I am not a
computer expert but i can figure out most problem. Any help would be great .
Thanks, ROB

Ad-Hoc wireless and ICS even with XP to XP is suspect to say the least
about it. It's most likely not any better with Vista. I suggest you get a
wire/wireless access point router and use Infrastructure mode on the
wireless card, to save yourself some grief.
