I also have ad-watch, yet my last update from windows was installed with
ad-watch settings on automatic. Which means that I don't receive those h_key
messages from ad-watch. Unfortunately I think by letting it go on automatic
watch the program allowed microsoft to embed this website. I think it is
somehow related to the problem I'm having with IE in that everytime I open
the browser I get the Windows update window instead of my homepage. My
homepage link is still in tact under internet options however.
I would not allow the modification to go through. And I wouldn't set your
ad-watch to automatic. You may end up with my problem.
By the way I believe it is related because I just re-booted my computer, and
re-installed ad-aware with it's default settings (automatic not selected) and
when I first opened my browser after installing all windows updates I
recieved the very same message you did. I got it every time after until I set
ad-watch to automatic, and now my browser always opens to Win Update.
