Add contacts limit

Hi,

I am trying to add contacts to my messenger but I seem to keep hittin
a limit of approx. 3 contacts every 5 minutes and 20 per day. Is thi
happening to others? This never used to happen. Can you please let m
know if this is something that will continue from now on / a new MS
policy, or is it a fault?

Greetings Stuart,

I suspect this may have something to do with the recent mass spam adds we saw over the past 6
months or so. I do know that there's been other things changed which are supposed to combat
this problem as well.

That said, instead of using the Messenger UI, what about going to http://people.live.com and
adding them there (you'll see a 'Use this address with Windows Live Messenger' as you're
filling out the add contact screen).
