Hi

Is there a way I can manage DHCP running on SBS2003, or at least look
into the current lease list from an XP client?
How can I run the dhcpmgmt.msc from an XP client?

Thanks
Franz

Maybe RDC into the SBS from the XP client?

Thats what I am doing so far.
I was looking specially for the remote DHCP solution to give some of our
developers the possibility to look into the current lease table without
having them to access the server by RDC.

Thanks
Franz

What problem are you trying to solve?

I'm struggling to think how knowing this could be useful.

We are currently developing Hardware/Firmware for VoIP phones. In that
context developers need to know the IP a device got from the DHCP to be
able to connect to it.

Thanks.
Actually, we *did* have a separate Lab Network, using a Server2003 as
DHCP, and .. and as Router to the business network .... until its HW
crashed and has not yet been replaced ;-)

I'll try the admin pack.
Thanks,
Franz

Can't you add some DHCP reservations, so that the same phone will
always get the same address?

Not a bad idea either .. as long as the devices do not change frequently.
Thanks
Franz
