Hi all

When I click on the + on Windows Sidebar to add gadgets (or right-click and
select "add gadgets...") then northing happens.

I donno what else information to give on this. Its just that nothing happens
at all when I click Add Gadget in Windows Sidebar. No messeges, no errors, no
windows, no nothing.

Anyone?

Did that.

I've had the problem for more than two weeks, so both the computer and the
program has been restarted several times.

I've also tried re-registering several dll-files like suggested by some, but
that didn't help eather.

Maybe this will be helpfull: When I click on properties, the button to
restore the default gadgets cannot be clicked (it is greyed out) even though
I have removed som of the default gadgets.
I can restore them by deleting the settings.ini file, but nomatter what the
restore button is always un-clickable.

What changed on the computer 2 weeks ago when the problem started? Shot in
the dark, check for pop-up or script blocker that could be affecting the
desktop.

Hi

I am not sure what changed, as I am not sure exactly when it happend.

But I know for sure I've installed several Office, Adobe products, iTunes
and updated Windows between when it worked and when it didn't. It would be
really annoying if I had to start all over formatting the PC, if this is
caused by another program.

I have not installed any security software other than Windows Defender and
Avast Antivirus. I've tried disabling both but that did not help.

Another add to this case that might be of interest:

When I click Remote Desktop (in the start bar or directly on the exe file)
nothing happens eather. No messages or nothing. It's just like the program
simply dosent start.

I had one more issue related to this, but forgot.
