Added new contact address & now always offline?

Hi,

I have just installed the latest version of Windows Live Messenger, and at
the same time, one of my contacts updated their email address. I added the
new address, but now they always appear offline, as I do to them, and I am
now unable to message or webcam with this particular contact. I have tried
deleteing both contacts and re-added them 1 by 1, but to no avail.

Is there something I need to do, in order to be able to see them online +
message and webcam again?

Thanks for your anticipated help.

It seems to be a COMMON problem with the new version of WLM. I have the
exact same problem with one of my contacts...have done the delete, re-add,
had them add me, etc...the offline status remains though...even if we are
having an IM conversation that the other person initiated. Hopefully there
will be a PATCH soon.

Chris
