When I follow the instructions in the help file for adding static lyrics to a
track, all works fine untill I have pasted the lyrics and the click apply or
OK and I get tole.
One or more of your lyrics were not saved. All lyrics not assigned a unique
language were ignored.
I choose English [United Kindom] ]en-gb]
Have tried this with different songs always get the same message.
Please can somone help?

Thanks

Can't add lyrics using advance tag editor no matter what I do, even if it
appears to save them they don't show when the song is played.
Yes I have switched them on if available.
And when you go back into the tracks advance editor they don't show.

The only lyrics that show while songs are played are the ones I added in
Media 10, and got converted and even they don't show in the advance editor!

I'm having the same problem. The lyrics show up in "Now Playing" but you have
to scroll to read them; then if you need to edit them, they don't show up in
ATE, kinda like they got ATE.

So am I. Same error message, etc.

I also can't update media info (would really like to after using the
advanced tag editor for album art or album artist etc) as it hangs at 1% and
says "server busy...".

I don't even WANT to use the online data for albums as MANY times it is dead
wrong or retags my personally edited tags back to the wrong info. I will let
it display data, but not tag stuff as I am sick of my music being retagged
and then moved to a different folder according to that wrong data.

I use other software (mp3Tag) usually for the main tag info and renaming
files, but have yet to find a (free) tag editor that will let me fully
utiltize the features of any particular media player (let alone WMP; 11 or
otherwise).

At this point I am willing to shell out some cash if anybody knows a good
tag editor. Unfortunately, while looking over various software feature lists
they don't usually tell every detail of its capabilities, and I've never seen
one yet specifiy the items I want.

Especially since I like using WMP and use lossless wmas wherever possible
(am considering just making everything .wav's). Most sites etc just tell you
to switch to something else. And I hate the itunes interface and do not ever
want to get an i"suck"pod.

Sigh.

WMP 11 WISH LIST:

- Simple tag editor that tags immediately, not days later.
- Allows me to make my own tags first or edit downloaded tags and then does
NOT change them when I download info for other albums.
- Full view of static lyrics or bigger viewable scrolled area.
- Able to see WMP folder album art without re-tagging all my current song
files. (Only shows up when I tag the first song in each album's folder.)
- Get rid of the GIANT BLUE BUTTON in the list view panel. (How about
putting the album art there if I am viewing lyrics?)

I'll be watching replies to see if this ATE issue gets resolved.

This issue in the beta is being looked into by the right people.

To force this to work now, I believe you can do the following:
1: Uncheck Retrieve Media Information under WMP's Tools:Options:Library
2: Reset your Media Library-
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary
3: Readd the content

At this point Update Media Info should be able to complete. I don't recall
if Retrieve will still interfere with Update Media Information if you turn
it back on after that point, but the above will get Update will work.

Well, I have downloaded the most recent version of WMP11 (Hey, it is not a
beta anymore!!!!!) with version: 11.0.5721.5145 in Spanish (It is the same
version as in the English one) and I still have such problems with lyrics.
It is just disgusting that a nice player has fallen down so much. They set
themselves when they removed the "InfoCenter" at WMP10. I guess I will go
back to WMP10 in order to add the Lyrics to my songs. (Hey, I might go back
to WMP9 or 8, who knows, I might stop using WMP at all.)

Hey Rayna, have you looked into Winamp? From my point of view, their tag
editor looks nice, and easy to fill out. Here is their website:
www.winamp.com Go check them out and see what you think.

Hey guys, I am having such lyrics problems even with the most and recent
version of WMP11. (Not a beta anymore!!!!) I have downloaded and installed
WMP11 Spanish Version: 11.0.5721.5145 (Same version as the English one) and
I have such problems with lyrics. IT is such a disgusting sigth Microsoft.
I may even stop using your player if such problems arise....

Hey Rayna, have you looked into Winamp? They have great File Tag editors
for wma., wav., mp3., and so on. Go to www.winamp.com and check their player
out. It has lots of goody features that you can't compare to WMP. The only
bad is that you can't add lyrics with their tag editors, BUT they use
GraceNote which is "Better" than AMG. "I may be wrong about it"

Have tried THAT several times, it is hit or miss. And who wants to re-add 37
GB of content each time.

Worse yet, unchecking "retrieve" does not stop it from retagging my music
and moving it to new folders, if "update" is on. So if I re-tag in another
program, I can't get WMP to recognize those tags unless I "update media
info", which then starts retagging it all back! Sigh.

This problem was happening with WMP 10 also, and when doing online Windows
Updates from time to time IT turns them back on anyway. So if you don't
remember to immediately check .....

I am simply not using WMP 11 right now, not even for videos (just having it
on creates this music tagging behavior).

To stuserver:

I checked out WIN AMP a long time ago, I'll take another look now. But
frankly, I am using the latest Ubuntu Linux on another PC and liking it very
much so far. First time Linux desktop user; but have had a NasLite file
server for some time.

For websites who won't release Linux compatible software for downloading
music, e-books, magazines, I may get stuck with one PC on Windows, and having
to only buy CDs to rip, but I'm checking the options on that. I plan to write
a lot of letters (true snail mail seems to usually get better results) to
websites and manufacturers about Linux compatibliity.
