Adding new contacts!!!

I am unable to fully add new contacts... I go to the add contacts window...
fill out the e-mail addy... and the name shows up on my list - but they are
not ACTUALLY ON my contact list... I then open up their contact window... and
click the "Click here to add him or her now" button... and the "think icon"
or the hourglass appears like it's doing something... but NO!!! nothing
happens and they are still not officially ON my contact list!!!

HELP!!!

To correct this problem, shut down Messenger entirely by right-clicking on its icon in the
notification area and choosing Exit, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...lmpolicies.reg

Then try signing in again. It make take 30-40 seconds after signing in before you see any
change.

If you're still seeing the problem after that, try deleting the contact and readding it.
