Hi
I use Getright and Rapidshare.com a LOT!!

For this purpose, I need to create a list file which can be imported to
Getright!

I create a text file, rename it to .lst and keep all my URLs in there.

I was wondering if it is possible to include .lst file in the Right
Click->New menu
Other even the Right Click menu would be nice

Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated!!

Regards,
Gaurav Pandey

Add items to the New menu (aka ShellNew entries):

click the Ratings button. Voting helps the web interface.

Thanks Mark!

Looks like I am doing something wrong.

I created a .txt file.
renamed to .lst
Associated it notepad

In HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lst
created a Key - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lst\ShellNew
In shellnew created a string value - NullFile.

Rebooted

I do not see any reference for .lst in the new menu

Looks like I am doing something wrong

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lst
Double-click (default) and set it to "txtfile" without quotes.

Thank you Ramesh!

I am able to create a .lst file now!!

Woo Hoo!!

OK!! Time to get greedy for solution or a link to find more information
about this:

1. Right Click->New

Now I have two entries for Text Document.
One of them creates a .txt file and the other a .lst file

2. When I click the "Text Document" in New menu, the file name created is
"new text document .lst"
I was wondering if it is possible to change this to "List . lst"

3. I am looking forward to add .bat files also.
Would these steps also work for batch files?

Gaurav,

For .lst file, download:
http://www.winhelponline.com/fixes/lst_shellnew.zip

I'll add one for .BAT files if you want.
