Hi all I've been desperatly trying to resolve an error i've been recieving
when running DCPROMO on my new MS SBS 2008 domain controller.

What i'm trying to do is join a new 2008(SBS) DC to an existing domain. Time
after time i recieve the error: "The replication operation failed to allocate
memory".

I would be super apprechiative if you could help me resolve this issue!

Hello L2wi5,

As this is SBS i strongly suggest to use one of the forums newsgroups listed
here:
http://www.sbs2008.com/

Too many steps are different and there are your SBS experts.

Best regards

I don't think you can add an SBS 2008 to an existing AD...

There is not a possibility to create a trust between those 2 domains...

You have to "migrate" the SBS 2008 server into the domain.

This is not a trivial task and has to be well planned out. SBS is not simply
domain controller. If you try to install it without using the wizards you
are in for a world of hurt down the road.
