It works for me. :^}
When WLMail's spell checker flags a word that it doesn't recognize while I'm
drafting a message in the Compose window, if it is a word that I expect to
use again, I just click the Add button. WLM adds it to my custom dictionary
and doesn't flag it again after that. Even the word re-occurs in the same
message I'm currently composing, it is not flagged again.
This doesn't work outside the Compose window, though. But I can "manually"
edit my custom dictionary by opening it in WordPad or another text editor.
My custom dictionary in Windows 7 is at
c:\users\RC\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Proof\lang0409.lex
You will need to substitute your own username for my "RC", of course. The
"0409" is the hex equivalent of "1033", the code for en-US, the English
language as used in the USA. If you use a different language, post back and
we'll help you find that.
