When I go to windows update and use "custom" mode, I get several groups, like
"software updates (8)", "hardware updates(1)" in the left field, but when I
try to enter these categories, the only thing it does is loading the main
update page in the right frame, therefore making a potentionally endless
cascade of these wrong frames. Ofcourse, nothing downloads. The link
specified under each category is the same ..../v6 as the main page.

I have the same problem. This has existed for a long time. Why do they not
fix it?
