My problem is very similar to Mike's. After installing the new updates, my
address bar drop down locks up. If I uninstall the updates by restoring my
computer to an earlier time my drop down function works fine. I have
reinstalled updates 2x's with the same results. Like Mike, I want to keep my
computer updated. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Jamie,

Install them manually one at a time to determine which one is causing
the issue. Post back with your findings.
To manually download and install the updates, use the links provided
from within the Security Bulletins listed here :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx
or go to the Microsoft Download Center and enter the KB article number
in the Search pane at the top (eg: enter 912812 for the Cumulative IE
update ), then click the Go button.
Make sure you get the correct update for the version of Windows
installed including the Service Pack level.

Thank you! I manually downloaded each update. The one causing the problem
was KB908531. The others installed or ran and did not create a problem.
KB890830 ran successfully, but did not install. Thank you again. I hope
that Microsoft tries to patch the problem with 908531.
