Screen resolution of my monitor is 1920x1200. Is there any way to
enlarge font, icon, etc. without changing the default DPI of 96?

True this was the second time, but I could not see my post so I thought
it was not registered for some reason. I searched at the newsgroup's web
site but no hit except the one sent for the second time.
Could you kindly point to where I can find the thread?

Sure, search the newsgroup microsoft.public.windows.vista.general for
churin. You'll find all your posts.

I suppose you could change to screen resolution setting for the display to,
say, 1024x768.

That doesn't change the icon and font sizes. A 32dpi icon is a 32dpi icon
regardless of monitor's resolution. They just look bigger.

To change the Icon size:
Right-click on empty desktop>Personalise>View>Classic, Medium or Large Icons

I do not see "Classic" in View's pull-down menu. Extra Larg Icons, Large
Icons, . . . are in View's pull-down menu, but they are all grayed.
What I want to do more specifically is this: For example, in the window
in which to do the above, I want all text fonts and associated icons be
enlarged.

Quite correct even if pedantic. I rather suspect it is the effect the OP
wants when the question, "Is there any way to enlarge
font, icon, etc. without changing the default DPI of 96?", was asked.
