adjusting window panes size

Hello,

In a window with various panes I find it tricky to locate the cursor over
the 'boundary' between panes when I want to drag them to change the size.
Can I change the size/width of the 'boundary' ?

Rt. click desktop>Personalize>Window Color and Appearance> Hyperlink "Open
Classic Appearance properties">Advanced button lower right>Item (pull
down)>Active Window Border (Size) then same pull down Border Padding
(Size)>then same pull down Inactive Window Border (size).
