I was going to load the win server 2003 admin pack on my windows 7 but it
cried about not being compatible. Is there a windows 7 admin pack or is it
OK to load the XP version??

What level are the servers you are managing? Windows 2003? Windows 2008?

Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

What you probably want:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...5-4e344e43997d

Be sure to follow the installation instructions. It is not "Run the
executable, install, done." ;-)

The system requirements for that package don't mention Windows 7:

System Requirements

* Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003; Windows XP

* 30 MB of free disk space
* Windows XP 2600 with QFE q329357
* Windows XP SP1
* Windows Server 2003 family (3790)

I believe what you're after would be this:
