here I keep getting this error . You are not
currently logged into your computer as a Administrator. I am the only one
useding my computer. And when I check under Uses Accounts it said that I am a
Administrator With password protected. Then why am I getting the error??

BB,
I came here to put forward a very similar problem. I'm trying to uninstall a
program, but I keep getting the same message you see telling me I'm not an
administrator and therefore cannot uninstall the program. Like you, I'm the
only user and I'm the administrator.

Hopefully, someone will help us both.

Cheers,
Craig

Are you using UAC? Have you tried toggling it and retrying?

Dear All,
the problem is due to the issue that administrator account in the vista
comes as disabled. you can enable the same with a small process

firt go to accessories. then try to find command prompt. right click on
the same and select "Run as Administrator". then type as it is shown
below.

net user administrator /active

This will make the administrator active. then you can change the
password of the administrator with the standard procedure. you will find
some solaice for the problems faced.

This is bad advice.

The built-in administrator account should only be used for specific
procedures.

Enabling the built-in administrator account to be used for your everyday
account is never a good option. Besides losing all of the Vista security
components, this can also introduce other problems as well some other
unexpected behavior.
