Ok, my girlfriend recently bought a new sony laptop. And has somehow managed
to lose her sidebar. I was trying to get it back but keep recieving a pop
saying only the system administrator can do this. I looked in the contol
panel/user settings and her account is set as an administrator account. So
why can't i get the sidebar back?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

Are you getting an error message stating that the Sidebar is managed by your
system administrator? If so, the fix is here:

Hi Steve,

See Step One in this tutorial to make sure that Windows Sidebar is
enabled. If it is, then continue with the steps in the the tutorial.
