This is intended as well for "Suggestions for Microsoft" but I messed up
trying to start new thread there -- so here it is for general discussion.
I have spent more hours reviewing threads on the aforementioned Subject than
I can recall, as well as Googling and other Searches.
There are literally a hundred-or-more over a very extended period, and all
sorts of responses.
But I have not found one that informs me where and how the referenced
Administrator policies were set, much less how and where to change them.
With this ample evidence of concern, why is it MSN itself has not addressed
the issue, not to mention all the tech savvy, experienced discussion group
members?
As to UAC, there are numerous replies with several alternative means of
off/on.
But most -if-not-all point to the danger of leaving UAC off! Not at all
reassuring.
If I'm mistaken I'm sure there will be many to tell me so, but either way, I
look forward to a clear explanation and solution to the difficulty so many of
us have encountered.
