I'M TRYING TO INSTALL AN INSTALATION CD. THE DIRECTIONS SAY THAT I "MUST LOG
IN AS AN ADMINISTRATOR IN WINDOWS BEFORE YOU CAN SET UP SOFTWARE". WHAT DOES
THIS MEAN?

Maybe it'll work if you fix your stuck CapsLock key? (Posting in all caps
is considered SHOUTING here.)

What version of Windows?
For Windows XP, you need to log in with a profile with Administrator access.
Open the Control Panel.
Click User Accounts
If the account you are using is Administrator, you see it listed as such as
well as other account and type.

Hi there,

( caps lock off modus ) Right click the setup.exe file on the cd you want
to install and choose run as administrator, you will need the password
althuogh

On the time of login when use see windows welcome screen login as
administrator for this you need administrator password other wise you
will have to install windows XP home edition or Professional or crack
the administrator password with software

This is not correct: you will only see this login screen if you boot in safe
mode, press F5 during boot to boot in safe mode.

And THAT'S not quite correct either - that only applies to HOME
Edition......

Umm no it doesn't - in Pro I can log in as The Administrator WITHOUT booting
into safe mode first......

Than you have changed the standard log on screen
