I haven't done this so you should test by installing DFSR onto a test
computer in the "W2000 AD Domain", open the DFSR management console and
choose "add namespace to display". Now you have a test namespace to try
adding to the "W2008 domain". See if "add namespace to display" gives you
the option to add that name space after you move the server to the Win 2k8
domain.
I would do this test after the trust required for ADMT is setup.
If this works the files are the easy part. They come over with the server.
