Hello Kathy,
ADMT:
Migrate domain.com to newdomain.com for example, so you can change to another
domain name and cleanup old stuff to start from scratch with old environment
you really need to import.
2000/2003

2008

Cloning:
Using an imaging software to "copy" a harddisk/volume/partition to another
new harddisk/volume/partition. This will keep the complete settings, names
and important Security identifiers. Especially in a domain the SID of objects
like computers/users/groups has to be unique. So cloning of servers/computers
are not supported and will result for example in conflicts, security related
problems, except you use sysprep to remove old SID's after the cloning process.
Never clone DC's, even with sysprep.
USMT:
Migrates user profiles from one machine to another.
