Hi Y'all
Thanks Danny but we are not moving files from one server to another we are
performing a domain migration of a file server and keeping the file server
data on the same physical server as it is SAN attached..
Just to be clear in case my post is not clear, we want to migrate a
production file server that has 800GB of data from domain A to domain B in
the same forest. We have already migrated all users and workstations from
domain A to Domain B using ADMT successfully and now we want to migrate the
member servers over.
The file server with the 800GB of has over 50 shares and many sub folders
have been given different NTFS permissions.
We expect the ADMT to translate the security on shares and folders when we
use ADMT to migrate the file server from domain A to domain B and need to
work out how long this process will take.
Thanks in advance.
