Adobe 8 with Vista

Every time I check Adobe it says there is a language support update of
13.6 MB. I have downloaded and installed this several times. I
assume it is the same update. Is there a known Vista issue preventing
this update being retained?

Tried adobe 8 updater as i never used it before and it work's for me in
vista home premium
