Adobe Acobat

I installed SP 2, and then installed Adobe Acrobat 6.0. The install program
stops midway through the procedure with an error message "internal error
2753. Dist_acrodist.exe" I called Adobe and they said it might be SP2

Help!

You likely have a corrupt download...not SP2 related.

Also, make sure that your hard drive is working properly. I recommend
scanning the hard drive for errors. Right click the hard disk from windows
explorer and choose properties > click the tools tab > click check now and
follow instructions.

I was having trouble with my Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard. It would open but
then close right away, disappearing completely from my screen not just
minimizing. I reloaded the free version of Adobe Reader from the website
Carey lists below and the problem is now solved. I had also tried reloading
the Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard before and that did not work. So try the
solution below, it worked!! Thanks.
