after viewing pages in acrobat via the internet, i am given an error message
and the internet kicks me off. what is the issue?

Are you using the Reader or a full version of Acrobat?

If Reader, what version of Acrobat Reader are you using? Older versions
have serious issues with Registry entries that can cause issues similar to
what you describe. If a full version, again what version and what Windows
version do you use, to include network/standalone info.

Please post back with details and answers to the above and we can help you
get your system reconfigured.

I apologize, but i am not that computer literate. i hope i am providing
enough of the info that you have requested. i had adobe reader 5.0 and i just
recently installed adobe reader 6.0 that came with some computer software
that i bought. i have windows xp home edition. any thoughts? if you need more
info, please respond.

Hi, Art;

The next time this happens, copy down the exact wording of the error message
you receive, then post back here with that information.

Do you feel up to using RegEdit to look at a couple of things in your sytem
Registry?
