because the are a file type do not support or the file is damaged, because

Look for manual removal here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html
or check the Support Knowledgebase at Adobe's Norwegian site:
http://www.adobe.com/no/

No I haven't. But I know that Adobe Reader is Bloatware. Consider
uninstalling this application using one of the below mentioned tools.

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Scroll down and download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility Package.
or
Brute Force Uninstaller
http://www.majorgeeks.com/Brute_Forc...BFU_d4714.html
or
Revo Uninstaller
http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Better alternatives to Adobe are:
Foxit reader.
The free version can be obtained from URL:-
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
or
PDF XChange Viewer for free!
http://www.docu-track.com/

Good luck

I am happy for you but you do realize that, because of security issues, any
3rd party software should be updated. Google for: adobe reader
vulnerabilities :-)
