Hello all

I recently installed ADRMS running on windows 2008 sp2. Currently the server
has powershell version 1.0 on it, and in order to use the ADRMS modules I
need Powershell 2.0. When I try and install powershell 2.0 over 1.0 I get an
error "this update doesn't apply to your system" The update I am installing
is 968930. How can I get powershell 2.0 on the box?

Hello Sawyer,

I nkow this message if the patch is already installed or the wrong architecture
is chosen.

Check with "$PSVersionTable" without the qoutes in powershell the installed
version. You should get an output like:

Name Value
---- -----
CLRVersion 2.0.50727.4927
BuildVersion 6.1.7600.16385
PSVersion 2.0
WSManStackVersion 2.0
PSCompatibleVersions {1.0, 2.0}
SerializationVersion 1.1.0.1
PSRemotingProtocolVersion 2.1
