adverts taking bandwith

I've notice that the adverts are taking up quite a chunk of banwith even when
closed. they keep on making my web cam lag badly and some times even freez.

Is there any plans to remove the adverts from the bottem in the near future

on a 512kbps adsl i get 3 frames per second on msn compaired to yahoo runs
at 10

Aren't any plans to remove the ads. Although they're supposed to be (and have always been
for me) extremely low bandwidth.

How exactly do you know it's the ads? If you're seeing poor video performance it's usually
the result of not being able to directly connect to your contact and then Messenger sends
your webcam through its relay server and performance drastically suffers.
